Upgrade VMware vSphere Replication 9.0.1 to 9.1.1

Upgrading VMware vSphere Replication (vR) from 9.0.1 to 9.1.1 is basically a 2-step process. Existing replication schedules can be preserved. The first step is an upgrade in place of the existing vR appliance to a version that can be converged to 9.1.1. The second step is deployment of a new 9.1.1 appliance and converging/migrating the configurations, replication schedules, etc. from the original appliance to the new appliance. This blog article outlines the process.
